Oil Free Granola Recipe

Hello everyone! Our next recipe is for the delicious granola that was served at the health fair. If you would like to ask any questions about the recipe, please leave a comment below and we'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

                                                                        No Oil Granola

16 Cups of Old Fashioned oats or one 42 oz box
1 t. salt
1 cup Sucanat
3/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 cup broken walnuts (optional)
2 1/2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut (grind dry in the blender to make fine) makes about 2 cup
ground.
1 cup honey
1 t vanilla

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Combine them together
thoroughly. Spread out on cookie sheets or large baking dish and bake at 350 for 30 minutes stiring
every 10 minutes, then turn down to 225 and bake until golden brown, stir every 20 minutes. Let cool
before placing in sealed glass container.

  1. I made this for the first time, and I love, love this granola! First of all, it is very easy to make compared to the other granola recipes I've tried. It tastes really delicious. Also, it is very economic to make compared to cereal boxes that can cost up to $4 a box, and my family can easily eat one box in one meal. This recipe makes quite a big batch that should last you a while.
